GDR Architectural was approached by KPT Medical to automate a number of doors at a new Medical Practice in Newmarket which includes Dental and Medical services. Automation was required for their entrance doors and two cavity-sliders.

For the front doors, we installed the Record DFA 127 Automatic Swing Door Operators coupled with maglocks controlled by an Iseo Stylos Credential Reader via the Iseo Argo Smart Phone App which allowed our client swipe card and smart phone entry. Along with these components, we installed the Hotron HR50 UNI Sensor which when the auto doors are in auto mode, one door will activate in the presence of a person. Should an Ambulance arrive with a gurney, or a wheelchair occupant the receptionist can open both doors simultaneously via the Hotron WT-400 wireless Door Activation Switch positioned at the reception counter.

The two Dental surgery Cavity Sliders were automated by The Topp V1 Cavity Slider Automatic Operator. Activation is controlled by touch switches.
